SnapDrop Xpress Courier Services – Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: June 10, 2025

Welcome to SnapDrop Xpress Courier Services. By accessing or using our services, website, or mobile application, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to SnapDrop Xpress Courier Services.

  • “Customer,” “you,” or “your” refers to the person or entity using our services.

  • “Shipment” refers to any package, envelope, or item delivered via our service.

  • “Services” means all delivery, courier, logistics, or related services provided by SnapDrop Xpress.


2. Service Eligibility

To use SnapDrop Xpress, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract.

  • Provide accurate shipping and contact information.


3. Shipment Restrictions

You may not ship the following items:

  • Illegal goods, firearms, drugs, or contraband.

  • Perishables, hazardous materials, flammable items, or live animals.

  • Cash, precious metals, or items exceeding [Insert Value Limit, e.g. $5,000] in declared value without prior written approval.

We reserve the right to inspect, refuse, or discard prohibited shipments without liability.


4. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed. While we aim for timely deliveries, SnapDrop Xpress is not liable for delays due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Traffic or road closures

  • Acts of God or force majeure

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information


5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, SnapDrop Xpress is not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, theft, or delay of any shipment.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Any amount exceeding the lesser of:

    • $100 per shipment

    • The amount paid for that shipment
      Unless additional declared value coverage is purchased.


6. Insurance

You may request insurance or declared value coverage at an additional cost. All claims must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of delivery or expected delivery date. Claims submitted after this window will be denied.


7. No Warranties

All services are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.


8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SnapDrop Xpress, its officers, employees, and contractors harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your:

  • Use of our services

  • Breach of these terms

  • Violation of laws or third-party rights


9. Cancellation and Refunds

All shipments are final. Cancellations must be made before the courier is dispatched. Once dispatched, no refunds will be issued.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of of Jamaica, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in May Pen, Clarendon.


11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of the services constitutes your acceptance of any changes. The current version is always available on our website.


12. Shipping and Customs Information

  • Customs Duty & Weight Charges: All packages shipped by air with a declared value over $100 USD are subject to customs duties and weight-based charges.

  • Handling & Processing Fee: If three (3) packages valued under $100 USD each are received at the same time, a handling and processing fee of $180.00 JMD will be applied.

  • Administrative Fee: Packages valued over $100 USD will incur an additional administrative fee of $450.00 JMD.

  • Weight Rounding Policy: Please note that any fraction of a pound is rounded up to the next whole pound for billing purposes.

13. Standard Sea Freight

Delivery: 3-4 weeks

ALL PACKAGES UNDER $100 USD

All packages are subject to a wharfage fee of $1,200.
Freight charges apply at a rate of $15 USD per cubic foot.

For small packages under one (1) cubic foot, charges are based on weight at a rate of $500 USD per pound.

ALL PACKAGES OVER $100 USD

Standard Import Duty or Applicable Customs Fee

 Freight charges apply at a rate of $15 USD per cubic foot.

14. Office & Administrative Fee Policy (for late invoices)

To maintain efficiency in our billing and administrative operations, SnapDrop Xpress Courier Services enforces the following fee structure for overdue invoices:

  • Payment Terms: All invoices for sea freight are due within 14 days of the invoice date. Invoices are needed before the clearance date.

  • Late Payment Fee: A late fee of $150 per month will be added to any outstanding balance past the due date.

  • Administrative Handling Fee: An administrative fee of $100.00 will be charged for invoices unpaid after 30 days, to cover the additional processing and collection efforts.

15. Storage Fee Policy (unclaimed or Delayed Delivery Items)

To ensure optimal operational flow and space management, SnapDrop Xpress Courier Services applies the following storage fees for items not collected or delivered within a timely manner:

  • Free Storage Period: First 30 days from initial delivery attempt or warehouse intake is free.

  • Storage Fee: After the free period, a charge of $50 per day per item will apply.

  • Maximum Storage Period: Items not claimed within 60 days may be disposed of or returned to sender at the customer’s expense.

  • Extended Storage Agreement: Clients requiring long-term storage must arrange a formal agreement with our office.

16. Delivery

Delivery is available for locations that are safely and reasonably accessible by vehicle. For the safety of our drivers and the timely delivery of your package, access via paved or well-maintained roads is required. If a location is not directly accessible, we will arrange a convenient drop-off point with you. Door-Door Delivery is $500!
